We finally have sheep at Skirted Fleece! It was very odd to be a fiber farm without sheep, the primary fiber animal, so we're very happy to have some new arrivals.

The two white ones are Shetland/Babydoll Southdown mixes, who Adam has taken to calling Fathead and The Nose.
Sweat Pea is such an adorable big girl!! And yea, Fathead and The Nose are not becoming sheepie names...Helena and Hermia? Or some flower names to go along with Sweat Pea? Daisy, Buttercup, Rosemary, Poppy, Pansy, Posy...etc.
On February 1, 2010, Adam and Liz bought a 40 acre farm in northeastern Pennsylvania to raise fiber animals and, with luck, start a successful fiber mill.
